What do you enjoy most about running your own business?
Being a person who's part creative and part strategic, having my own business means I can leverage both of my strengths and work with clients I choose to work with. I get the freedom to choose the type of work I want to do, with the people I want to do it with so I can have the greatest possible impact on the world. And I love that.
What was your biggest digital marketing challenge prior to joining the Academy?
Actually getting things done. Setting aside the time to do my own digital marketing in my business was always a real challenge for me. The Academy has completely changed that, because I spend this time looking at marketing for MY business (instead of for my clients!)
What digital marketing challenges does being a member of the Academy solve for you and your business?
Being a member of the Academy helps me stay across all the things that are happening in the digital marketing world that might have an impact on my business. It consolidates the incredible amount of conflicting information out there about digital marketing and pulls my focus into the things that are important for my business, so I can make better decisions on what to do and when to do it.

Delivering on my content strategy consistently. It's made such a huge difference to my visibility.
